The Fundamentals of WLS Life ...

... are not that hard to learn.

What's difficult is following them every day.

After day.
After damn day.

We bandits (and other WLS'ers) have got to consume at least 60 ounces of fluids daily.  Non-carbonated, non-caffeinated, sugar-free fluids.  Dehydration happens more quickly for us -- I don't yet know why, but that's on the docket for further investigation.

It looks as though this lass has herself frosty glass of beer.  Alas, beer -- for at least the first year post-op, is a no-go. No beer, wine, or alcohol of any kind.

No, no, and oh by the way, NO!

Sip, swallow, repeat.  Consider it the pause that refreshes, and keeps you out of the hospital with an IV in your arm.
